I know the Roman Civil wars are immensely popular for the period. Pompey v. Caesar. Brutus/Cassius v. Octavian/Antony. So many some Roman v Roman. I also wouldn’t hate if this grew into some naval battles with a similar pub battle map system. I haven’t seen many good Salamis or Actium style games.
