Fast but Deep

I got a good email today commenting on the faster pace of our game.  It’s a great point.

I think we live in a faster pace world now.  The new rules speed up the game to fit that.  What is amazing, is that the kids like playing it too!  That says a lot considering they grew up playing mostly video games.  It moves along fast enough to keep their interest.  Ideally, we have tried to make it so that you can play ‘with’ the family rather than a choice of the game ‘or’ the family.

It’s a great introduction for kids into world politics and conflict.  It works on 2 levels though.  Kind of like the Simpsons.  It’s fun for kids but there is a lot more going on at very deep levels that make it fun for the adults too.  That’s pretty rare for games.
